Finland’s first comprehensive online course for Regenerative Farming

The E-college for Regenerative Farming provides all farmers current and science-based information about methods which improve soil health, productivity of the field and generate numerous environmental benefits. The course is free of charge and open for everyone. The 60-hour study module provides a comprehensive overview of regenerative farming and its potential applications.

Sitra’s funding was mainly aimed at producing the materials for the course, i.e. writing the course content in Finnish and Swedish with the help of BSAG staff and external experts and farmers. A significant part of the course content is also produced by ProAgria’s advisors without separate billing.

The E-college for Regenerative Farming provides was published in Finnish and in Swedish on February 9, 2021.

The material produced by BSAG has been published in accordance with the funding agreement under a creative commons license and is openly available.

The E-college for Regenerative Farming

The E-college for Regenerative Farming is an approximately 60-hour study module that provides a comprehensive overview of regenerative farming and its potential applications. The course was created in collaboration with farmers, researchers, agricultural advisors and other Finnish food chain operators and is based on both scientific research and practical experience gained from the Carbon Action project.
