Gofore Plc

Through its partnership with BSAG, Gofore is developing ways to harness data and digital solutions to accelerate the transition towards regenerative agriculture and a sustainable food system.

Collaboration in a seashell

The transition towards a more sustainable food system requires data that can move reliably between different stakeholders and support better decision-making on farms, in businesses and across the public sector. Since 2020, Gofore and BSAG have been working together to explore how data and digitalisation can help advance and scale regenerative agriculture.

    a) Acting as an interpreter of the agri-data economy for BSAG in separately agreed contexts, such as organising a related seminar.
    b) Actively participating in networks that promote regenerative agriculture, such as the Digi4CSA project led by the Finnish Meteorological Institute and supporting the organisations and communities operating within these networks in how digital technologies can be used to transform the food chain into a sustainable and regenerative one.

  3. Pro bono expertise for BSAG’s digitalisation work

Gofore continues its collaboration with BSAG in line with the company’s pro bono work model, offering its expertise to BSAG for various digitalisation-related projects according to BSAG’s needs at any given time.

The food system generates vast amounts of valuable data. The next major challenge is how to ensure that this information can move reliably across the value chain, while using it to demonstrate the impact of sustainability efforts and create new value for farms as well. Through our partnership with BSAG, we can combine digital expertise with research and practical farming, developing solutions together with the people who will ultimately use them.
