Kirsi actively engages in dialogue with various stakeholders, building a network of problem-solvers for the Baltic Sea in collaboration with BSAG’s leadership and teams.

As an experienced professional in media, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement, Kirsi also collaborates with teams and partners to design campaigns, events, and stakeholder research.
“I enjoy building bridges between people, issues, and common goals. When different views, perspectives, and thorough information meet, it creates space for new insights and impactful solutions. This also applies to protecting the Baltic Sea, for which the work that BSAG and its network of top experts do is extremely valuable. My heart flutters every time we make progress together.”
Previously, Kirsi has worked in strategy, stakeholder engagement, corporate responsibility, and journalism at Yleisradio. Her expertise combines continuous monitoring of the operating environment, knowledge of sustainable development, diverse networks, and international media collaboration on EU matters. Additionally, she has served as a member of the European Broadcasting Union’s EBU Legal & Policy Committee.
In her free time, Kirsi enjoys nature, long biking or walking trips by the Archipelago Sea, sparkling conversations, and reading, especially Polish literature.
