Evaluation of the Commitments

Description:

SYKE will prepare a systematic analysis of the BSAS commitments regarding their contribution to reaching the targets set in the Baltic Sea Action Plan and in the Marine Strategy Directive.

In the first phase the evaluation will be based on the information given in the commitments. In case of concrete pollution load reduction commitments modelling calculations can be made, in other cases expert evaluation will be performed.

The evaluation will help to direct the future revisions of the targets for the protection of the Baltic Sea. Thus the impact will by permanent
