Growing malting barley regeneratively
In this pre-study, we learned about the conditions in malt crop farming in Finland, Lithuania, and Poland, and established a basis for further knowledge transfer and training activities, including possible full-scale projects as a follow-up.
Good existing contacts with local partners (agricultural advisory services, research institutes) in Lithuania and Poland in addition to the direct contacts with Viking Malt contract farmers helped to facilitate data and information collection and stakeholder interviews.
